“Fernando Daniel, one of Portugal’s most important national pop artists today, presents V.H.Sessions, an intimate show in which he appears on vocals, guitar and piano, accompanied by two members of his regular band: Fernando Mendoza on keyboards and programming and Ivo Magalhães on guitar.
In this concert, as well as songs from his latest album “V.H.S. Vol.1.”, from which the big hits “Casa” and “Prometo” are taken, both platinum singles, we will also find must-hear hits such as “Espera”, “Voltas”, “Se Eu” or “Melodia da Saudade” and some songs from the next album of originals, due for release in the last quarter of 2024, like his latest single “Dois”.
Since 2018, Fernando Daniel has led the way in establishing himself as one of Portugal’s most successful pop artists, with 1 platinum and 1 gold album, 6 gold singles, 5 platinum singles, 2 double platinum singles and 2 triple platinum singles, over 450 million streams and more than 250 concerts, all attended by crowds who have witnessed the full vocal power of Fernando Daniel and the contagious energy of the whole band on stage, including an Altice Arena, a Super Bock Arena, a Multiusos in Guimarães, the Coliseum in Lisbon and Porto, all of which have sold out.
In 2019 and 2020, he received the award for Best Portuguese Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which recognises artists who have distinguished themselves most throughout the year for their musical quality and popularity. At the beginning of 2020, he was awarded in the Personality of the Year (Music) category at the 5 Star Awards, which aim to help consumers identify the best on the market at all levels. Also in 2020, he was nominated in the Best Male Artist category at the second edition of the PLAY Awards, the Portuguese Music Awards.
Since 2021, he has been one of the mentors on The Voice in Portugal, on The Voice Kids in 2021, 2022 and 2023, and in 2023 he will join The Voice Portugal.
