PITCH SAÏAN SUPA CELEBRATION

Getting together to magnify and pass on a heritage: that’s what the Saïan Supa Celebration is all about, a celebration and a moment of exploration of sound memory led by Sir Samuel, Sly Johnson, Specta and Vicelow.

Despite their different paths, these four former members of the original six have never lost sight of each other or their Crew’s heritage.

In the early 2000s, thanks to three landmark albums and memorable concerts in France and abroad, the group entered the history of French rap with its unrivalled artistic identity.

As KLR, Saïan’s first album and a French rap classic, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024, the quartet will be celebrating the SSC philosophy with a unique show.

Bringing their diverse musical legacies (rap, soul, reggae and Afro-Caribbean) to the stage, they’ll be performing their greatest classics as a group and solo.

For what links these different eras is the same leitmotiv that was at the heart of the creation of “Saïan”: a love of music and hip-hop, and a need to pass on an entire cultural heritage.

The one they created as much as the one they come from.
